A History of Magics

Magics were first discovered when a group of men learned to harness the energy within themselves and put it to practical use. When the first magic user, or mage, learned how to safely use his powers, thieves and charlatans tried to use tricks imitating magics to put on fake performances and leech money from gullible spectators. Eventually, however, more people began using magics, and mages soon replaced "wizards" and "witches", although they did not flaunt their talents uselessly.
